The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
